Principal’s Message
Dear Canoe Creek Families,
It is hard to believe that the first nine weeks are already behind us. As I visit classrooms each day, I continue to be impressed by the hard work, perseverance, and growth demonstrated by our students. From our youngest Eagles to our eighth graders, students have embraced new learning opportunities and challenges with enthusiasm.
The success of our first quarter is a reflection of the strong partnership between our students, staff, and families. Thank you for supporting learning at home, encouraging your children, and staying engaged in their educational journey. Together, we are creating an environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
As we move into the second nine weeks, I want to emphasize the importance of regular school attendance. Every day matters. When students are in school, they benefit from direct instruction, meaningful discussions, collaborative activities, and the relationships that help them feel connected to their learning. Consistent attendance is one of the most important factors in student success, and we appreciate our families' efforts to ensure students arrive on time and are ready to learn each day.
I also encourage our students to reflect on their accomplishments from the first quarter and set goals for the months ahead. Whether those goals involve academics, attendance, behavior, or extracurricular involvement, small daily efforts lead to great achievements over time.
I am truly blessed to serve as the principal of Canoe Creek K8 and to work alongside such dedicated students, families, and staff members. Every day, I see examples of kindness, perseverance, and a commitment to excellence that make me proud to be part of this school community.
Thank you for being part of the Canoe Creek K8 family. Our school continues to be a special place because of the dedication of our students, the commitment of our staff, and the support of our families. We look forward to a successful second nine weeks as we continue Rising to the Challenge together.
Go eagles!
