Meet Our Administrators
Dear Canoe Creek Families,
Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year at Canoe Creek K-8, Osceola County’s premier environmental STEM (E-STEM) school! My name is David Noyes, and I am honored to serve this incredible community as principal.
At CCK8, we believe in a hands-on, minds-on approach to learning that empowers students to think critically, solve real-world problems, and become leaders in building a sustainable future. Our E-STEM focus is more than a curriculum, it's a commitment to preparing students for success in the 21st century and beyond.
This year, we are proud to introduce our new school-wide theme: “Rising to the Challenge Since 2020.” This theme reflects our commitment to growth, resilience, and unity. It’s a call to action for our students, staff, and families to embrace challenges as opportunities and to work together to create a better tomorrow.
We believe every student at CCK8 brings unique talents and boundless potential. It is our shared responsibility to nurture that potential every day. Families, educators, support staff, and community partners all play a vital role in helping our students achieve academic excellence.
I encourage you to get involved by joining our School Advisory Council (SAC), participating in PSTA, and/or becoming an OASIS-approved volunteer. Your engagement strengthens our school and supports our eagle scholars in reaching new heights.
Canoe Creek K-8 is destined for greatness, and with your continued partnership, we will rise to every challenge and soar to new successes.
With Eagle pride,
David Noyes
Principal, Canoe Creek K-8
As your new Assistant Principal, I am thrilled be to joining the Canoe Creek K8 family. I began my journey as an elementary teacher 18 years ago in Osceola County and have spent the last 8 years of my career as an Assistant Principal at middle schools in the district. Each day, I am guided by my principles of inquiry, equity and collaboration to create a learning environment that will grow each and every mind, every day.
I look forward to embarking on this new journey together.
Greetings Canoe Creek Eagles and families. My name is Jennifer Woollet, and I am one of the very proud Assistant Principals at Canoe Creek K8. I have served our Osceola Community for the last sixteen years as a teacher, an instructor, mentor, an academic coach, a dean, and now as your Assistant Principal. Our school is student-centered, and our collective focus is to deliver excellence in the education we provide. I love our students and believe in their ability to achieve success inside and outside of the classroom.
I remain focused on providing hands-on investigations and problem-solving opportunities where students can engage their critical thinking and are empowered to become informed citizens and productive members of our community. I am excited to continue the work we have started here at Canoe Creek K8.
I look forward to building relationships with our students and their families. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns. I am available to assist you in any way I can. Ensuring your child’s success is my number one priority!
