As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday break, I want to take a moment to reflect on the values that make our school community strong and united. This season reminds us of the importance of gratitude, kindness, and respect and these values are at the heart of our SOAR expectations.
At our school, we strive to SOAR by:
- Showing Respect
- Being Organized
- Accepting Differences
- Ready to Learn
These expectations guide our behavior in the classroom, on campus, and on the bus. Maintaining a safe, respectful, and positive environment is essential not just for learning, but for building a community where everyone feels valued and supported.
Itโs important to remember that fighting or engaging in physical altercations is strictly prohibited and will result in serious consequences. This behavior does not reflect who we are or what we stand for.
Instead, we encourage students to practice conflict resolution through respectful conversation, seeking help from trusted adults, and walking away from situations that may escalate. There are always better ways to handle disagreements.
Together, letโs continue to SOAR and make our school a place where everyone can thrive.
